A 15-year-old boy was charged with murdering his parents and three siblings, as well as attempting to kill another sibling in Washington state. The teen was charged with five counts of aggravated murder in the first degree and one count of attempted murder in the first degree. The incident happened in Fall City, about 25 miles east of Seattle, and all six criminal counts were filed as acts of domestic violence. The 15-year-old was taken into custody on the day of the shooting and was being held in a juvenile detention facility. One surviving sibling, an 11-year-old girl, escaped the attack and was hospitalized but has since been discharged. The teen’s attorneys maintain that he is innocent and has no criminal history, describing him as a normal 15-year-old who enjoys mountain biking and fishing. A neighbor mentioned that the family homeschooled their children, who were active in the community and well-known. The father of the teen worked as an electrical engineer, and his company expressed shock and sadness at the loss. The community and local officials have expressed sorrow and support for those affected by the tragedy. The case remains under investigation, and family members have not been reachable for comment.
