Terryon Thomas, a popular TikTok creator with 4 million followers, was charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice in connection with the death of therapist William Nicholas Abraham. Thomas, based in Baton Rouge, was accused of killing Abraham with blunt-force trauma. Thomas had gained notoriety on TikTok for copying other creators’ videos and had faced criticism for his unapologetic attitude towards complaints. Despite concerns raised by followers about his well-being, Thomas was arrested in Dallas after being suspected of driving Abraham’s car without authorization and fleeing from police. Authorities found blood, sharp objects, and other weapons in Thomas’ home and witnesses reported seeing him dragging a tarp and loading it into Abraham’s car prior to the therapist’s body being found. Online speculation about the alleged crime and potential motives has continued, with false claims circulating that Thomas was involved in Abraham’s past arrest for inappropriate behavior with a client. However, prosecutors declined to take that case to trial, and there is no evidence linking Thomas to it. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office stated that there is no proof of a relationship between Thomas and Abraham, and investigations into a motive are ongoing. Thomas is currently in custody in Dallas awaiting extradition to Louisiana for his court date to be set.
