The Celonis Process Intelligence Platform has been instrumental in improving efficiency and cost savings for Oklahoma’s state operations. By analyzing data from various systems, Celonis identifies inefficiencies and provides actionable steps to help follow state procurement laws.
Through the platform, Oklahoma has achieved significant cost savings, with $6.8 billion in confirmed purchasing errors and inefficiencies flagged within agencies. OMES, the state’s Office of Management and Enterprise Services, identified $3.06 million in flagged purchase card transactions, leading to better controls and savings.
Furthermore, the platform has enabled efficiency gains by reviewing procurement data in minutes, a task that previously took years. This has empowered faster and more accurate decision-making across state operations.
Improved oversight has also been a key benefit, with Celonis flagging and analyzing over $3 billion in purchases lacking oversight in fiscal year 2023. This has ensured greater accountability and transparency in state procurement processes.
State Chief Operating Officer and OMES Director Rick Rose praised the impact of Celonis, stating, “Oklahoma is the first state to adopt Celonis’ groundbreaking technology for procurement and process optimization. The insights we gain allow us to strengthen our operations and address flagged purchases much sooner.”
Overall, Celonis has proven to be a valuable tool for Oklahoma, helping the state streamline its processes, achieve cost savings, and make more informed decisions.
