The Mississippi Children’s Museum Nominated for USA Today’s 2025 Best Readers’ Choice Awards


The Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) has been nominated as one of the Best Children’s Museums by USA Today for the 2025 Reader’s Choice Travel Awards. The winners will be chosen based on the number of votes received during the voting period from January 13 to February 10. The community is encouraged to show support by voting daily for MCM in the awards.

MCM, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, aims to create exceptional experiences to inspire excellence and a love for learning in all children. With two award-winning museums located in Jackson and Meridian, MCM offers over 100,000-square feet of exhibits and educational programming focused on Literacy, STEAM, Health and Nutrition, Cultural Arts, and Mississippi Heritage. These initiatives are designed to help children grow into healthy and productive adult learners.

The museum provides resources for children, families, and educators through various programs such as The LIFT, traveling exhibits, community outreach, Launch into Learning afterschool program, professional development for educators, and literacy and language development initiatives. Voting for MCM can be done once per day by individuals aged 18 and older until February 10. The winners of the awards will be announced on February 19.
