The Ole Miss men’s tennis team kicked off their 2025 spring season with an impressive doubleheader event against Eastern Kentucky at the William F. Galtney Indoor Tennis Center. Dakotah Bobo starred in the opening matches, securing two singles wins and one doubles victory. The Rebels showed dominance by winning all seven singles matches in straight sets against EKU.
In the first match, Ole Miss defeated EKU 4-0, with doubles wins from Gordon Whitwell and Isac Strömberg, and Noah Schlagenhauf and Bobo. Bobo, Strömberg, and Matthieu Chambonniere won their singles matches to secure the victory for the Rebels.
In the second match, Ole Miss fell short in doubles but rallied in singles to defeat EKU 4-1. Freshman Benjamin Martin, Schlagenhauf, Whitwell, and Bobo secured singles wins. Bobo’s victory over Navarro secured the fourth point for the Rebels. Chambonniere and Strömberg also had strong showings, earning set wins before their matches were left unfinished.
