The Mississippi State Diamond Dawgs had a successful 2024 season, finishing with a 40-23 overall record and securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Despite losing eleven players to the MLB Draft, they are gearing up for the 2025 season with a #18 ranking in the D1 Baseball Preseason Top 25. They are set to kick off the season with Opening Day at Dudy Noble Field on February 14-16, hosting Manhattan.
The team’s 55-game schedule includes 31 home games, with seven of the first eight games at home. Fans are eager to see how the Diamond Dawgs will perform this season after their strong showing in 2024.
