The Blue Moon Art Project contest in Ocean Springs, MS is now open to Mississippi artists aged 21 or older. Artists are invited to create a contemporary canvas that embodies the essence of the Blue Moon brand for a chance to win $2000 and be featured at the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival. The artwork should be painted on a 24” x 36” museum-quality canvas and must be submitted by October 4.
The selection committee will be looking for a contemporary and abstract design with specific criteria, including no words on the front of the artwork and no beer bottles included. The winning artist will receive $2000 and their work will be prominently featured at the festival. Additionally, festival spectators will choose a “People’s Choice Award” winner who will receive a $500 cash prize.
The Blue Moon Art Project is sponsored by Blue Moon Brewing Company, F.E.B. Distributing Company, and the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau. The Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival presented by Blue Moon will take place on November 2 & 3, 2024 in downtown Ocean Springs.
