With a background in healthcare management and a Bachelor’s degree in health information management from Arkansas Tech University, Roberts will be responsible for provider education and administrative support for medical facilities in the state’s northwest and west central regions.
Having previously served in multiple roles at healthcare facilities in Northwest Arkansas, including business office manager and HIPAA compliance officer, Roberts brings a wealth of experience to her new position. She also holds a master’s degree in health science administration from the University of Arkansas.
Founded in 1948, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is the largest health insurer in the state, providing coverage to a significant portion of Arkansas residents. The addition of Roberts to their team is seen as a strategic move to enhance their network development efforts in Northwest Arkansas.
