Alan and Dori Triplett have opened The Lumberton Cafe in Lumberton, Mississippi, adding to their business portfolio in the small town. The couple, who moved to Lumberton for retirement, also own Lumberton’s Finest Grind. The goal of their newest venture is to provide a place for people to come together and enjoy a home-cooked meal.
City leaders are excited to see business owners investing in the community and staying in town, as it helps to stimulate economic growth and provide options for residents and visitors. Ward 4 Alderwoman Jasmin Holder expressed pride in seeing new businesses thrive in Lumberton.
The Tripletts hope to attract customers from outside the town to help Lumberton grow and flourish. The cafe features photos and articles documenting Lumberton’s history, creating a sense of community and nostalgia for patrons.
