Communication Excellence: MSU Students Honored by PRAM

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State University (MSU) recently celebrated the achievements of six communication students during the Public Relations Association of Mississippi’s (PRAM) annual awards program. Leading the accolades was Rileigh Campbell, a spring summa cum laude graduate from Caledonia, who was named PRAM’s Student of the Year. Her selection acknowledges outstanding academic performance, public relations experience, and community involvement.

Nominated by Associate Professor Melody Fisher, Campbell received a $1,000 scholarship from C Spire. Fisher lauded her for both her academic prowess and remarkable character, emphasizing her leadership abilities and team spirit.

In addition to Campbell, Greta Allen of Olive Branch earned the title of Outstanding PR Student, receiving a $250 scholarship from The Cirlot Agency. Allen, a spring magna cum laude graduate, was recognized for her exceptional work ethic and organizational skills.

The program highlighted additional nominees from MSU, showcasing the caliber of its communication students:

  • Rebekah Brown (Virginia Beach, VA) is noted for her superior public speaking and writing skills.
  • Mallory Morrow (Huntsville, AL), a creative and meticulous summa cum laude graduate, stands out as a skilled writer and content creator.
  • Isaac Sivils (Bude), praised for his analytical skills and passion for communication, also graduated with summa cum laude honors.
  • Belle Grace Wilkinson (Florence), a magna cum laude graduate, was recognized for her impressive academic record and commitment to community service.
