Bulldogs Set New Academic Standard With Historic Spring Semester
STARKVILLE, MS – The Mississippi State Bulldogs have achieved a remarkable academic milestone during the spring semester, setting a new standard for excellence in collegiate academics. With a collective GPA of 3.36, this is the highest recorded figure in the program’s history.
A total of 211 student-athletes participated in the semester, with 139 achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher, showcasing the dedication and hard work of the team. This achievement reflects the Bulldogs’ commitment to balancing athletics with academics, underscoring the importance of student success beyond the field.
In addition to stellar GPAs, the Bulldogs welcomed 59 newcomers to the roster, who collectively maintained a GPA of 3.22. This impressive influx of talent is further indicative of the program’s commitment to academic rigor and recruitment of student-athletes who excel in both disciplines.
