As he took the stage alongside longtime co-host Vanna White, Sajak lightened the mood with a humorous pitch for a new show titled Sajak Senior Secret Agent, claiming he would perform his own stunts.
In a thrilling hour, celebrity contestants Renée Elise Goldsberry, Bernadette Peters, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson competed for their chosen charities. Goldsberry kicked off the night by solving the puzzle "I Am Not Throwing Away My Shot," earning $20,450 and ultimately sealing her victory with a total of $120,450 after solving the Bonus Round puzzle "Good Vibes Only."
The second game was equally competitive. Ferguson triumphed with $54,300, including a substantial win from solving "Acceptance Speech." Peters secured $16,100, contributing her earnings to charity, while Goldsberry left with an admirable $10,000 from her earlier win.
Ferguson could not guess the Bonus Round puzzle "The Happy Dance," missing out on an additional $25,000 for his charity. As the show ended, Sajak expressed his gratitude to fans and hinted at a potential return, leaving viewers hopeful for his future on television.
