Mississippi State Baseball Sets Record in Blowout Win Against Missouri
COLUMBIA, MO – The Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball team demonstrated their offensive prowess in a remarkable 25-7 victory over Missouri in the series opener on Thursday night, marking their seventh win in the last eight games under interim head coach Justin Parker.
The Bulldogs’ offense was explosive, amassing a record eight home runs during the game. Hunter Hines became the all-time home run leader for MSU, tying Rafael Palmeiro with his 67th career homer, hitting two sensational shots in a standout ninth inning. “You can see the relief,” Parker expressed, lauding Hines’ ability to settle down and focus on his swing.
