Three individuals were recently involved in a skimmer scheme in Mississippi, with one pleading guilty and two being sentenced for their roles in the operation. The scheme involved the use of skimming devices to fraudulently obtain credit card information from unsuspecting victims.

The individual who pleaded guilty, identified as 32-year-old Razvan Budeanu, confessed to his involvement in the scheme and acknowledged his role in the operation. Budeanu faces up to 10 years in federal prison for his actions.

Additionally, two other individuals, 39-year-old Florin Bersan and 39-year-old Orlando Viorel Cojanu, were sentenced for their roles in the skimmer scheme. Bersan was sentenced to four years and three months in federal prison, while Cojanu received a sentence of three years and one month.

The three individuals were part of a larger operation that involved the installation of skimming devices on gas pumps and ATMs throughout the state of Mississippi. These devices were used to steal credit card information from unsuspecting individuals, allowing the perpetrators to make unauthorized purchases and withdrawals.

The sentencing of these individuals serves as a reminder of the serious consequences of engaging in fraudulent activities such as skimming schemes. Law enforcement officials continue to crack down on these types of crimes in an effort to protect consumers and prevent further financial losses.

As the investigation into the skimmer scheme continues, authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and take precautions to protect their personal information.
