A man wanted for a murder in Memphis has finally been captured in North Mississippi after over a month on the run. Antonio McClelland, 52, was arrested in Southaven and charged with first-degree murder in the death of Jimmy L. Walker, who was shot inside his Frayser apartment. Walker died at a hospital on March 6, 2025, and McClelland was identified as the shooter five days later, with a warrant issued for his arrest. On Tuesday, he was apprehended in Southaven without incident and is currently being held at the DeSoto County jail awaiting extradition to Tennessee. The U.S. Marshals Service helped in the arrest and confirmed that McClelland was found in the backyard of a home on Holbrook Cove.
