The No. 3 Ole Miss men’s golf team had a remarkable first day at the 2025 Old Waverly Collegiate Championship, breaking multiple team and individual records. After 36 holes, the Rebels are dominating the leaderboard with a score of (536, -40) and all six players inside the top 11.

In the first round, Ole Miss set records with a team score of (265, -23) marking the lowest single round score in tournament history. Tom Fischer shot (-7, 65) to become the solo leader after 18 holes. The team continued their strong performance in the second round, shooting (271, -17) to increase their lead to 25 strokes.

Fischer leads the individual leaderboard with a score of (-12), followed closely by Kye Meeks at (-11) and Michael La Sasso at (-10). Other standout performances include Cohen Trolio, Collins Trolio, and Cameron Tankersley, all contributing to Ole Miss’s success.

The Rebels made a total of 65 birdies and five eagles over the first two rounds, showcasing their stellar play at the Old Waverly Golf Club.
