Top-10 Mississippi Prospect Commits to Ole Miss Football

High school offensive lineman Li’Marcus Jones from Calloway High in Jackson, Mississippi, has committed to play for Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels. Jones, a top prospect in Mississippi, has received offers from multiple schools but ultimately decided to pledge to Ole Miss after visiting Oxford last weekend. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 285 pounds, Jones is considered a three-star offensive tackle in the rising-junior class and has attracted interest from SEC programs.

In a similar move, running back Ja’Michael Jones from Pike Road in Montgomery, Alabama, has also committed to play for the Rebels. Jones, a three-star prospect, chose Ole Miss after receiving offers from top schools like Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia. Over 30 schools have sought out Jones during his high school career, but he ultimately decided to join Kiffin’s crew.

Both players made their commitments after visiting Oxford and being impressed by the program and coaching staff. Kiffin and the Rebels are actively recruiting top prospects and are utilizing spring practices as an opportunity to host potential recruits on campus.

The commitment of both Li’Marcus and Ja’Michael Jones adds to Ole Miss’ strong recruiting class, with the program making waves on the recruiting trail this spring. As Kiffin continues to attract talented players, the Rebels are shaping up to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming seasons.
