Entergy Mississippi has announced the launch of a new scholarship program aimed at supporting students pursuing degrees in technology-related fields. The company is investing $150,000 over three years to fund the scholarships, which will be awarded to students attending four Mississippi universities: Jackson State University, Mississippi State University, the University of Mississippi, and the University of Southern Mississippi. Each university will receive $12,500 annually to distribute to eligible students.
In addition to the financial support, scholarship recipients will also have the opportunity to participate in internship programs with Entergy Mississippi, gaining valuable real-world experience in their chosen field. The goal of the program is to help develop a pipeline of talented individuals who can contribute to the technological advancements of the future.
