The Williamson County District Attorney stated the case was not being accepted at this time after speaking with witnesses and investigating. Worthy’s lawyers claimed he was innocent of the charge, stating it stemmed from a situation with a female who had been living in his home. The lawyers said she made a baseless allegation against Worthy after being asked to leave the residence due to infidelity.
