Ole Miss track & field junior Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan won his second consecutive SEC weight throw title in dominant fashion at the 2025 SEC Indoor Championships. Robinson-O’Hagan set a career-best heave of 24.35m, breaking the SEC meet record and ranking him No. 2 in SEC history. His win marked his sixth career SEC title and he has a chance to sweep the men’s weight and shot put. The Rebel men had a successful day overall, with several athletes setting personal bests in the weight throw event.
In the women’s weight throw, sophomore Skylar Soli won her first career SEC medal with an impressive performance. She finished in second place after a series of strong throws. In the men’s high jump, junior Arvesta Troupe won silver with a career-best leap of 2.22m. Troupe’s performance improves his spot in school history and puts him in contention for the NCAA Indoor Championships.
On the track, senior Marcus Dropik secured his spot in the men’s 800-meter final. The Ole Miss track & field team will continue competing on the final day of the conference championships, with events like the men’s shot put. The Rebels are currently in second place on the men’s side and fifth on the women’s side in the team scores.
