No. 55 Mississippi State’s women’s tennis team is gearing up for two matches this weekend on the road. The Bulldogs will first face off against 19th-ranked Vanderbilt at the Brownlee O. Currey Jr. Tennis Center on Friday, followed by a match against Missouri in Columbia. Vanderbilt holds a strong lead in the series against Mississippi State, while the Bulldogs have a favorable record against Missouri.

In their last meeting with Vanderbilt, Mississippi State fell but Maria Rizzolo secured a win against a ranked opponent. The Bulldogs closed out the 2024 regular season with a win against Missouri, with Alessia Tagliente and Maria Rizzolo playing key roles in securing victory.
