Athletic Programs at the University of Mississippi, known as Ole Miss

Ole Miss women’s tennis achieved a split in their weekend doubleheader, dropping their first match against Iowa 4-1 but rebounding with a strong 7-0 victory over Alcorn State. Head coach Mark Beyers earned his 300th win at Ole Miss and his 350th overall career win. Sophomore Andrea Nova stood out, winning all four of her appearances and her singles matches in straight sets in the doubleheader. The Rebels had solid performances against Iowa, but were unable to make up a lost doubles point, with Nova being the lone winner. However, they dominated against Alcorn State, with Nova leading the charge by winning all her matches without giving up a game point. Freshman duo Alice Soulié and Brooklyn Olson also impressed in their first appearance together, securing a convincing win. The Rebels are now focused on conference play after a successful nonconference season and will face LSU next. Fans can stay connected with the team through the Rebel Rewards program and by following them on social media.
