Jimmy Lee Price, a beloved resident of New Hebron, Mississippi, passed away at the age of 78 on February 13, 2025. He was a proud veteran, having served in both the US Army and the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Jimmy was known for his love of sports, especially the Houston Astros, and his passion for music, particularly Southern Gospel and Traditional Country.
In addition to his hobbies, Jimmy was a devout member of the First Baptist Church in Magee, Mississippi, where he made many cherished friendships through his Bible study class. He will be deeply missed by his family, including his brother and sister, as well as by his nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation and funeral services for Jimmy will be held on February 20, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Magee, followed by burial at New Hebron Cemetery in New Hebron, Mississippi. Bro. Barry Corbett will officiate the services. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is handling arrangements.
