The University of Mississippi recently announced the students named to the Fall 2024 Honor Roll lists. The Chancellor’s Honor Roll includes students with a GPA of 3.75-4.00, and the Dean’s Honor Roll includes students with a GPA of 3.50-3.74. Chancellor Glenn Boyce commended the students for their hard work and dedication, recognizing them as some of the best and brightest at the university.
Local students named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll included Ella Chapman, Megan Gaare, Mary Anderson, Haley Brightwell, Phoebe Miller, Lacey Rust, Reilly Taylor, and Madison Yi from various programs. On the Dean’s Honor Roll were students like Colton Crane, Allison Johnson, Anna Floyd, Linda Hill, and Julia Williams from different academic programs as well.
In order to be eligible for either honor roll, students must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and not be on academic probation. The University of Mississippi is known for its esteemed academic programs, including a major medical school and nationally recognized schools of accountancy, law, and pharmacy. The campus in Oxford is considered one of the most beautiful in the nation and the university has a long history of producing leaders in various fields.
The university, affectionately known as Ole Miss, is proud of the achievements of its students and looks forward to continuing to foster a culture of academic excellence and achievement.
