Toni Lindsey, also known as “Mama T” by business leaders, has had a diverse and impactful career in Arkansas. From her time working with the University of Arkansas Athletic Department to her current role as the State Chamber’s director of government affairs, Lindsey has made a name for herself as a trusted advocate for pro-business legislation.
In her role at the State Chamber, Lindsey focuses on community relations in northwest Arkansas and lobbying for legislation at the state Capitol. She emphasizes the importance of honesty and building relationships with legislators to effectively advocate for policies that benefit the state.
Lindsey’s passion for politics and government was reignited through her participation in the Leadership Arkansas program, which she now directs. The program brings together business leaders from across the state to explore different aspects of Arkansas’ economy and culture, fostering personal and professional development.
Outside of work, Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and cooking. Her son, Thomas Gray, who is a heart surgery recipient, serves as her motivation and inspiration in everything she does.
