Guthrie and Hudson to Hold Hearing on American Wireless Leadership in Communication and Technology


WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) and Congressman Richard Hudson (NC-09) have announced the first hearing of the 119th Congress for the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology. The hearing, titled “Strengthening American Leadership in Wireless Technology,” will focus on the importance of next-generation wireless technology in driving technological innovation and ensuring economic participation for all Americans.

According to Chairmen Guthrie and Hudson, the United States needs a strategic spectrum policy to empower innovators to compete on a global scale. The hearing, to be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET in the 2123 Rayburn House Office Building, will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss launching a new era of American leadership in wireless technology.
