Blake Reano, a senior at the University of Central Arkansas, has been selected as a recipient of the APSA Diversity Fellowship Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. He is majoring in political science and minoring in international studies, with a focus on studying nationalism as an ideology. Blake has already developed two undergraduate theses on nationalism-related topics and has received a travel grant for Japanese language training and fieldwork abroad.
Throughout his time at UCA, Blake has shown a passion for teaching and a dedication to promoting diversity in academia. He plans to pursue a career as a university professor to create passionate classroom environments and conduct impactful research that benefits people worldwide.
