A Georgia woman has been arrested in Mississippi after deputies discovered packages of suspected cocaine in her vehicle. The arrest was made on Saturday, October 16, 2021, during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 20 in Rankin County, Mississippi.

The woman, whose name has not been released, was traveling eastbound when she was pulled over by deputies for a traffic violation. During the stop, deputies became suspicious and asked for permission to search the vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, deputies discovered several packages of suspected cocaine hidden inside.

The woman was immediately taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. She is currently being held at the Rankin County Jail pending further investigation.

This arrest highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat drug trafficking and distribution in communities across the country.
