Anthony Evans, Wide Receiver from Georgia Football, Commits to Mississippi State

Former Georgia wide receiver Anthony Evans has committed to transferring to the Mississippi State Bulldogs, as announced on his social media. Evans entered the NCAA Transfer Portal following the Bulldogs’ final game against Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl. In his role with Georgia in 2024, Evans played behind veterans Dominic Lovett and Arian Smith but was the starter as a punt and kickoff return specialist when healthy during the 2025 season. He finishes his Georgia career with 13 receptions for 129 yards and 1 touchdown.

In addition to Evans, the Bulldogs have also added Zacahriah Branch to the wide receiver room following Evans’ departure. Georgia faces a tough slate in 2025, with SEC matchups against Ole Miss, Alabama, Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.
