Athletics at the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss

The No. 21 Ole Miss men’s basketball team has started off their Southeastern Conference play with a 3-0 record, their best start in half a decade. Led by coach Chris Beard, the Rebels recently defeated LSU in a decisive victory, with a packed crowd of over 9,000 fans despite inclement weather conditions in Oxford. The team had five players score in double figures, showcasing their depth and balanced scoring approach.

Looking ahead, Ole Miss faces tough challenges with road trips to face No. 4 Alabama and No. 15 Mississippi State, along with many more ranked opponents in the SEC schedule. The SEC currently boasts four of the top six teams, making the conference highly competitive this season.

The remaining home games for Ole Miss are all against ranked teams or SEC newcomers, including matchups against No. 1 Auburn, No. 8 Kentucky, and No. 6 Tennessee. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early, as some games have already sold out. Limited quantities remain for most home games.
