FDJ-SUEZ teams up with Nike for exclusive team lifestyle apparel sponsorship

Nike has announced an exclusive partnership with top-tier women’s professional cycling team FDJ-SUEZ, making them the team’s official “lifestyle apparel supplier” starting in 2025. This deal is the only one of its kind in both the men’s and women’s pelotons, solidifying FDJ-SUEZ’s status as a fashion-forward team. The French team has recently signed Demi Vollering, a former Tour de France Femmes winner, to join as a co-leader alongside Évita Muzic and Juliette Labous for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

Vollering had already signed a personal sponsorship deal with Nike last April, making her the latest addition to the roster of athletes working with the sportswear brand. While Nike does not currently produce cycling products, their lifestyle apparel will be worn by FDJ-SUEZ athletes and staff this season, combining style and functionality. The team expressed excitement about the collaboration, citing its potential to enhance their identity and project.

FDJ-SUEZ has also recently switched bike sponsors from Lapierre to Specialized, coinciding with their 25th anniversary and Vollering’s signing. Although Specialized will provide bikes for the team, Vollering’s former squad SD Worx-Protime will continue their partnership with the brand through 2028.

Overall, the partnership with Nike represents a significant opportunity for FDJ-SUEZ to expand their brand and explore new avenues with a globally recognized company. General Manager Stephen Delcourt expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration and looks forward to further developing their image both on and off the competition stage. With these strategic moves in place, FDJ-SUEZ is poised for success in the upcoming cycling season.
