Birdie Joe Garrett, a beloved resident of Flowood, MS, passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 75. She was a cancer survivor known for her resilience and unwavering faith. Birdie enjoyed spending time in her flower garden, finding peace and happiness in nature. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Visitation will be held on January 9, 2025, followed by a memorial service at Antioch Baptist Church in Florence. Birdie is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Don Garrett, her son, Charles Wesley Breeden, daughter-in-law, Kim White Breeden, grandchild, Wesley Tyler Breeden, and sister, Betsy Barron White Berry, along with nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Cemetery Fund at Antioch Baptist Church in Florence. Birdie will be dearly missed by those who knew her. An online guestbook is available for those wishing to leave condolences.
