6 Inducted into the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame


The Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame will be adding six new inductees in its Class XXXVII, recognizing their contributions in aquaculture, forestry, rice, poultry, cattle, and agricultural research. The inductees include Aubrey Blackmon, Carl Brothers, Chuck Culver, Mike Freeze, the late Jack Reaper, and Frank Wilson. The induction ceremony is scheduled for March 28 in Little Rock.

Aubrey Blackmon, Carl Brothers, Chuck Culver, Mike Freeze, Jack Reaper, and Frank Wilson have been selected as the newest inductees into the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame for their significant contributions to the state’s agriculture industry. These individuals have made their mark in various sectors including aquaculture, forestry, cattle, and poultry production. In addition, their dedication to agricultural research and extension projects has helped shape Arkansas’ agricultural landscape.

The induction ceremony, set for March 28 in Little Rock, will honor the six inductees for their outstanding achievements and lifelong commitment to the agriculture industry. Since its establishment in 1987, the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame has recognized 192 individuals for their contributions to the state’s largest industry. Chair Debbie Moreland of Roland emphasized the importance of agriculture in Arkansas, calling it the state’s No. 1 business sector that plays a critical role in its economy and culture.
