The No. 5 Ole Miss football team finished their non-conference schedule with a perfect 4-0 record after a dominant 52-13 win over Georgia Southern in front of a record crowd of 67,505 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. The Rebels outgained Georgia Southern 607-194 and overcame 11 penalties for 133 yards to secure the victory.

Quarterback Jaxson Dart continued his impressive performance, throwing for 382 yards and four touchdowns, while receiver Tre Harris nearly set a program record with 225 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The defense, led by Chris Paul Jr. and Khari Coleman, held Georgia Southern to only one touchdown, marking the first touchdown allowed by the Rebel defense in the 2024 season.

Ole Miss dominated the game from the start, scoring on their first possession and maintaining a strong lead throughout. The defense forced turnovers and applied pressure to the opposing quarterback, while the offense capitalized on big plays through the air and on the ground.

The Rebels are now gearing up to face Kentucky in their first SEC game of the season, with a sold-out stadium and high expectations for continued success. Ole Miss fans are encouraged to wear red and powder blue to Stripe the Vaught and show their support for the team.
