Luke Kromenhoek, a transfer quarterback from Florida State, has committed to Mississippi State, adding depth to the team’s quarterback position. Kromenhoek, who had a promising freshman season with the Seminoles, will bring his talents to the Bulldogs with three years of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound quarterback was a highly touted recruit out of Benedictine Military in Savannah, Ga. Mississippi State has been in need of competition for the starting quarterback job, especially after Michael Van Buren Jr. transferred to LSU. Kromenhoek joins a quarterback roster that includes Blake Shapen and incoming freshman KaMario Taylor. The Bulldogs failed to secure a bowl game this season, finishing with a 5-7 record. Kromenhoek’s decision to join the team is seen as a positive move in their efforts to improve the quarterback position and compete at a higher level in the upcoming season.
