Micah Wallace has been appointed as the head of the communications department for the Democratic Party of Arkansas. A native of Hope, Wallace brings a wealth of experience in communications, having previously worked on party rebranding, expanded press coverage, and managed digital and social media accounts. Grant Tennille, Chair of the Democratic Party of Arkansas, praised Wallace’s work ethic and attention to detail.
Wallace has previously worked on the Marcus Jones for Congress campaign and co-founded a consulting firm with Reed Brewer. Brewer served as the state party’s media contact before Wallace took over the role. Wallace expressed her excitement at the opportunity to work for the Democratic Party of Arkansas and is eager to share the stories and initiatives of the party with the public.
In her new role, Wallace will focus on informing Arkansans about Democratic policies and initiatives, particularly in providing economic relief to hard-working individuals across the state. She aims to highlight the party’s values of Southern hospitality, care for people, and determination to make a positive impact. With a talented state party staff and years of experience in communications, Wallace is well-equipped to lead the party’s communications efforts in Arkansas.
