Northern Ireland DJ Dean McCullough has become the second celebrity to be evicted from the jungle in the hit show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Hosts Ant and Dec announced the result of the eviction vote during Sunday night’s episode, with McCullough facing off against retired boxer Barry McGuigan. McCullough said he was happy to be going home and revealed that he participated in the show to make his mother proud.
During his time in the jungle, McCullough completed seven different challenges and won a total of 33 stars. Known for his singing and infectious energy, he became a popular campmate amongst his fellow celebrities. However, he admitted that his experience in the jungle was nothing like he had expected.
In a controversial move, McCullough was caught sneaking contraband, tea bags, into the jungle along with another campmate. Despite this, he still managed to make an impact on viewers. With McCullough now out of the running, McFly’s Danny Jones is the current favorite to be crowned king of the jungle, with other contestants such as the Reverend Richard Coles, Coleen Rooney, and Maura Higgins also in the running.
Overall, McCullough’s time in the jungle was filled with challenges, surprises, and memorable moments, making him a standout contestant in this season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
