The Atlantic Knights of Columbus, Council #1164, recently made a generous donation to Washington Elementary and Schuler Elementary Schools as part of their annual “Coats for Kids” program. The group donated coats, boots, hats, and warm clothes to help keep children warm during the winter months. The council raised the funds for this donation through various fundraising events held throughout the year, including their largest event, the annual Fish Fry held at SS. Peter and Paul Church during Lent.

In addition to the “Coats for Kids” program, the council also supports other charitable initiatives such as the Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities, scholarships for Atlantic High School seniors, and local food pantries. The group is a strong supporter of the community and is dedicated to helping those in need.
