Fox News Channel to Introduce Cutting-Edge Graphic Technology for Election Night Broadcasts

Fox News Channel will be unveiling new immersive graphics technology during its election night coverage on November 5th. The network has made significant upgrades to its Studio M, including new augmented reality technology for anchor Bill Hemmer’s election data board, virtual set technology, and touchscreen applications for voter analysis.

The new tools will allow Fox News reporters to provide viewers with the most up-to-date polling information and voter analysis throughout their coverage. The “Bill”-board technology has been enhanced with augmented reality attributes and 3D interaction, giving Hemmer the ability to interact and telestrate in real-time. The network has also developed multimedia presentation concepts such as a “Path to 270” map and a “Top 5 Closest Races” tool to enhance the viewer’s election experience.

In addition to technological upgrades, Fox News has also made design improvements to Studio M, transforming it into a state-of-the-art election headquarters. The studio now features a bespoke “super desk” for anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, a two-story high accent feature wall, and a 20-foot-long ultra-high-definition media wall for video and photo elements. Dimensional accent walls and extensive lighting placements have been added to create multiple presentation areas in the studio.

With these new technologies and design enhancements, Fox News aims to provide viewers with an immersive and engaging election night experience. Stay tuned for the network’s in-depth coverage and analysis as the election results unfold.
