CNN’s Alisyn Camerota announced the death of her husband, Tim Lewis, who passed away in July after a two-year battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. In an Instagram post, Camerota praised Lewis for his humor, humility, and bravery in the face of his diagnosis. The couple would have celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary this month. They have three children together, and Lewis was known for his commitment to community service, volunteering at homeless shelters and supporting education and scholarship funds. A fund has been set up in his memory to help other families going through similar struggles. Lewis, originally from Kansas City, Missouri, was a Yale University graduate and had a successful career in private equity and business consulting. Camerota expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and colleagues, and plans to return to work in the near future. She and her children are still adjusting to life without Lewis but are inspired by his strength and stability. Camerota promised to share more about their journey in the coming days.
