The Ole Miss men’s golf team recently concluded their participation in the Visit Knoxville Collegiate tournament with three top-10 finishes. The team put on an impressive performance at the competition, which took place at the Holston Hills Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Leading the way for the Rebels was senior Jackson Suber, who finished tied for third place overall with a score of 206 (-7). Suber’s strong performance included rounds of 69, 69, and 68, marking his best finish of the season so far. Following closely behind was sophomore Graham Hutchinson, who finished tied for seventh place with a score of 209 (-4). Hutchinson put together consistent rounds of 70, 70, and 69 to secure his top-10 finish.
Rounding out the team’s top performers was junior Ben Reichert, who finished tied for ninth place with a score of 210 (-3). Reichert’s performance included rounds of 69, 71, and 70, showcasing his skill and consistency on the course.
Overall, the Rebels finished in fifth place as a team with a combined score of 834 (-18). The team’s top-10 finishes were a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the tournament, and they will look to build on this success as they continue their season.
