Sheriff Tyree Jones stated that the suspect, Tony Morris, aged 67, called dispatch to report that he had shot his wife. Kathleen Morris, aged 64, was fatally shot at least once with a shotgun by her husband, Tony Morris. Sheriff Jones confirmed that they do not suspect anyone else to be involved in the incident, with Tony Morris being the lone responsible suspect at this time. However, they have not ruled out any possibilities.
A man at the scene, who identified himself as the suspect’s brother, mentioned that the couple had been going through a divorce.
