Actor from ‘Power Rangers’ series sought in Idaho parking lot altercation involving battery charge

Police in Idaho issued a misdemeanor arrest warrant for the actor who played the green ranger in the “Power Rangers” movie franchise in connection with an alleged battery incident. The incident took place in a parking space for people with disabilities at the District 208 shopping center in Nampa. The victim, a man in his 60s who uses a walker, took pictures of the license plate of a truck parked in the disabled spot. Video footage shows a man, identified as Hector David Rivera, pushing the victim to the ground and uttering “harsh words” before driving away. Investigators were able to identify Rivera through dashcam video of the incident. As of late Wednesday, Rivera has not turned himself in, and authorities have not located him. Nampa is a city with a population of over 100,000 people located about 20 miles west of Boise in southwest Idaho. Representatives for Rivera did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
