Thomas Matthew Walker, an 89-year-old resident of Magee, MS, passed away on June 29, 2024, surrounded by his daughters. He was born on November 19, 1934, in Magee, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on July 2, 2024, with funeral services on July 3, 2024, both at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, with Shelby Colson officiating.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers, and sisters. He is survived by his daughters, grandchildren, sisters, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers for the service will include Wesley Stuckey, Michael Brown, Charles “Corky” Lingle, and Tim Lacey, with Houston Everett serving as an honorary pallbearer.
