Former Tullahoma High School basketball standout Benayah Stroop has officially graduated from Mississippi State University after a successful career as a student-athlete. Stroop, who played on the Tullahoma Wildcats’ basketball team, achieved this milestone four years after initially committing to the university.
During his time at Mississippi State, Stroop made significant contributions to the university’s basketball team as a walk-on player. Despite facing challenges and setbacks throughout his college career, including a season-ending injury, Stroop persevered and continued to work hard on and off the court to achieve his academic goals.
Stroop’s dedication to his studies paid off when he graduated with a degree in business administration. His hard work and determination were recognized by his former high school coach, Jason Missel, who praised Stroop for his commitment to his education and his team throughout his college career.
Stroop’s success serves as an inspiration to other student-athletes in Tullahoma and beyond, demonstrating that with perseverance and hard work, anything is possible. His story is a reminder of the importance of balancing athletics and academics, and the impact that determination and dedication can have on achieving long-term goals.
As Stroop celebrates his graduation and looks towards the next chapter in his life, he leaves behind a legacy of resilience and perseverance that will continue to inspire others in the Tullahoma community and beyond. Congratulations to Benayah Stroop on this significant achievement, and best of luck in all his future endeavors.
