The victim of a fatal shooting outside a Mississippi bar has been identified as 24-year-old Brandon Michael Cartwright, a father from Alabama. Cartwright was shot and killed in the parking lot of the High Noon Lounge and Karaoke in Waynesboro. A suspect, Jaylen Keonta Mayfield, is being sought on a murder warrant in connection with Cartwright’s death. Cartwright’s family is devastated by his loss and is currently making funeral arrangements. His wife, Crysta Anderson, expressed her grief on social media, describing his death as traumatizing and stating that she feels lost without him. Cartwright’s mother, Teresa Cooper, also shared her grief online, expressing how much she will miss her son and vowing to see that justice is served. The family has set up a GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses. Anderson described Cartwright as her best friend and said his death has been the most difficult thing she has ever had to go through. Cooper remembered her son as an amazing young man who was taken from them too soon. The community is mourning the loss of Cartwright and hoping for justice in his tragic death.
